Artist Statement
My paintings explore the relationship between the body, spirituality, and personal experience. Through the human figure, a focused color palette, and intimate imagery, I create a visual language for emotions and experiences that can be difficult to express through words. I am interested in creating a new language through painting—one that allows personal and spiritual experiences to be communicated through the body, color, and emotion.
